I have to lie down w/ R. too. I keep a book by the bed and we have a red lightbulb in the lamp so I can read, which makes it a LOT more tolerable. I can usually get up after about 20 min (although have to return at least once to get her back to sleep).

Re: tummy, she nursed to sleep on her side and sort of rolled that way, so I let her stay that way to see if it helped. Not sure it did, but she didn't hate it, so we might try it more.

I bet the new carseat will make a big diff. for Kennedy. I couldn't BELIEVE how much happier Robin was when we switched!!

Our bedtime is shifting all the time. Just when I think we've got it down, something gets all screwy. Napping is generally better but today she has had 2 30 min naps (NOT ENOUGH) so now she's just fussing on the floor refusing to nap but not having fun either, which is the most annoying state. EITHER fuss and go to sleep OR be happy you're awake... not fuss and be awake!!
